Company Overview

SCG Financial Services was incorporated in 2003 and prior to this operated as a sole-proprietorship since the early 90's.

In the beginning, SCG started out as a full service bookkeeping company that catered to several different business industries. Then in the mid ninety's, Income Tax Preparation Services were introduced to all types of individuals with a specialty in small business returns and the entertainment industry. As the milennium approached, SCG began transforming its company into a full service Accounting and Income Tax Preparation Firm that also started to add Entity Services and payroll processing. Today, SCG Financial serves the entire San Fernando Valley, West LA, Hollywood and greater Los Angeles area and currently maintains a corporate office in Woodland Hills, California.

In the last year and a half, SCG has been invited to join an elite group of professionals that cover from the San Fernando Valley to San Diego County. This Elite group of tax professionals belong to Tax Smart America, headquartered in both La Mirada and San Diego. SCG and the other members of this group spend 220 hours per year on Education which goes far beyond your typical 20 hours of continuing education required by the state.

SCG was founded by its owner, Stephen C Gilbert back in the early 90's under the name SCG Consultant CO, which later became SCG Financial Services, APC.

Our clients are the most important people in our organization as we are nothing without them. Each client is treated with respect and given the highest level of service in our office. We offer a free one hour consultation to review your income tax or bookkeeping needs. We are a licensed Quickbooks Pro Advisor and we have extensive experience in using the Software.
